This policy explains what personal information RankCraft collects when you use this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Information you give us

When you request a quote we collect your name, email address, and anything else you share: business name, phone number, project type, budget range, and your message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and keep a record of our correspondence. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

If you use the RankCraft assistant on this site, the messages you type are sent to our AI provider (Groq) to generate a reply. Please do not enter sensitive personal information into the chat.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used to keep the site secure and available, and to diagnose faults.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device and is not used to track you.

Our spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set a cookie in order to tell real visitors from automated traffic. It is strictly necessary for the contact form to work.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to operate this site: our hosting provider (Coolify on our own server), our spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), our email provider (used to deliver quote requests to us), and our AI provider Groq (used only for chat messages). Each processes data on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact form correspondence is retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, prepare quotes, and meet our record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted. Technical logs are kept for a short period only.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
